About the Erasmus+ programme
Thanks to mobility opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme, students of the Fire University can continue their studies at other European universities, choosing from a wide range of options for studying abroad.
Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) (pdf, 287 KB)
APoż has signed numerous bilateral and partnership agreements with universities in countries such as Estonia, Slovakia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia, Norway, and Finland.
At our university, the Erasmus+ Team operates in accordance with Ordinance No. 2/2025 of the Rector-Commandant on the establishment of a task force for coordinating activities outlined in the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the years 2021–2027. The team provides assistance with the formalities related to the mobility procedure.
Erasmus+ also offers APoż staff the opportunity to participate in short visits to other universities for conferences, seminars, and project workshops in designated countries.
Within the Erasmus+ programme, students and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) may go abroad either to study at universities in Europe with which an inter-institutional agreement has been signed or to undertake internships in companies, organisations, or institutions operating in other countries.
A student who has completed at least the second year of first-cycle (bachelor’s) studies may participate in mobility during any cycle of their studies. The minimum duration of a study period abroad is 3 months, while the minimum duration for a traineeship is 2 months.
Under the programme, students qualified for Erasmus+ study or internship mobility receive a grant to cover living expenses in the host country and a lump sum contribution towards travel costs.
