The Main School of Fire Service (SGSP) is a co-organizer of a worksop „Sunken ammunition – hybrid and environmental threat in Baltic Sea” which took place on the 25th May 2023 in France (Brest) during European Maritime Day 2023.
European Maritime Day is organized by DG Mare (Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries). During celebrations between 24th-25th May are included: workshops, meetings, conferences and competitions on maritime topic for instance: sea protection form pollution casued by intensive fishing, maritime transport, tourism.
The Main School of Fire Service was represented by Weronika Jakubczak, Phd, Assoc.Prof. SGSP whom is a creator and co-coordinator of the workshop.

European Maritime Day (EDM) is celebrated starting from 2008 in May.
Celebration was created in order to rise awarness of the citizens about ecology and enonomy of maritime influence in our daily routine. It is a ocassion for meetings connected with maritime issues and sustainable growth in maritime sectors.
