The conference will be held stationary in the A2 Auditorium of Fire University (facility 02, building F, 2nd floor).
Address: Słowackiego Street 52/54 Warsaw, Poland.
OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE
The aim of the conference is to strengthen the civil protection and social resilience system in Poland in practical terms by comparing Polish and Finnish experiences, transferring Finnish know-how in the areas of planning collective protection facilities, evacuation and education, and initiating bilateral talks on joint projects. The event builds a lasting network of contacts between Finnish partners, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, local government units, the Fire Academy and other civil protection and civil defence authorities and entities.
Specific objectives of the conference:
– exchange of Polish and Finnish good practices regarding collective protection facilities, evacuation and communication with residents,
– identification of areas for bilateral cooperation (working groups, pilot projects, agreements),
– transfer of technical and organisational solutions (standards, procedures, IT tools),
– strengthening the competences of local government units in planning and creating local civil protection and civil defence systems.
