From 16 to 19 March, the Fire University, in cooperation with the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service of Poland, organized the Baltic Excellence Programme (BEP), implemented in accordance with the adopted agenda, as part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
The event was officially opened by Vice-Rector for Education and Students Col Tomasz Zwęgliński, D.Sc. Fire Eng., University Professor, and the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, Mr. Adrian Bucałowski.
During the programme, participants took part in numerous workshops, lectures, and practical sessions covering, among others, leadership development, communication and media presence, psychological resilience in emergency services, as well as crisis management in an international context.
The agenda also included topics related to cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region, the role of new technologies and artificial intelligence in civil protection, as well as team-building activities and exchange of experiences among participants from different countries.
The Fire University was also represented by its students, who actively participated in the programme and had the opportunity to gain knowledge and exchange experiences in an international environment.
