Guardians

baner

The EU-funded GUARDIANS project will develop innovative technologies and strategies to respond in the event of a large-scale nuclear accident or tactical nuclear explosion, such as drones and robots equipped with radiation sensors, as well as the coordination of scalable strategies for triage, decontamination, and medical response. The project will also establish an integrated platform to enable real-time information processing and synthesis, mission management and simulation services. Ultimately, GUARDIANS will provide tools to mitigate human and environmental damage by accelerating decision-making and intervention times, thus providing protection for European citizens and infrastructures.
