The delegation was led by Daniel Gheorghiță – Head of the Office for Analysis and Strategic Development in Civil Protection within the Department for Emergency Situations of the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The group also included representatives of public administration, emergency management authorities, and the construction sector.
During their visit to the Fire University, the guests were introduced to the operational specifics of the Rescue and Firefighting Unit. They also learned about the history of the University, its organisational structure, and the education and training process of students in the candidate service.
One of the key elements of the visit was the presentation of a mobile shelter, delivered by the Civil Defence Student Club. The delegation had the opportunity to explore its capabilities and discuss its role within modern civil protection systems.
The visit was part of a broader programme focused on the exchange of knowledge and best practices in civil protection, including study visits to protective infrastructure and expert-level discussions.
We would like to thank our guests for an inspiring visit and valuable exchange of experience!
