From October 13 to 17, 2025, LT Dr. Eng. Sebastian Staszko, assistant professor at the Fire University in Warsaw, participated in a teaching mobility at ISEC Lisboa – Higher Institute of Education and Sciences under the Erasmus+ program.

During his stay, he familiarized himself with the university’s structure, study program offerings, as well as its teaching and research facilities. During the visit, LT Dr. Eng. Sebastian Staszko presented, among other things, the research and teaching potential as well as the training ground infrastructure of the Fire University.

Additionally, he delivered lectures on chemical and environmental rescue, including road transport of dangerous goods, for bachelor’s degree students in the Civil Protection Engineering program, coordinated by Prof. Paulo Gil Martins.

The trip enabled not only the exchange of teaching experiences with the partner university’s staff but also the development of intercultural competences, English communication skills, and the ability to adapt to working in an international academic environment.

The visit also contributed to establishing contacts that may lead to further cooperation in the future.
