FORM AND VENUE OF THE CONFERENCE
The conference will be held in a hybrid format (stationary in the A2 Auditorium of Fire University (facility 02, building F, 2nd floor) and online (APoż You Tube channel).
OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE
The aim of the conference is to exchange views and experiences of the scientific community, firefighters of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Service, experts in the field of safety, and to familiarise with the offer of companies specialising in the production of solutions in the area of firefighter safety in rescue operations.
The scientific conference will enable the presentation of the latest research results, theoretical assumptions, practical solutions and challenges and problems related to firefighter safety occurring in their work environment, i.e:
- safety culture in rescue operations,
- health prevention,
- personal protective equipment,
- equipment, techniques and tactics used in rescue operations,
- the design of buildings
- the environmental impact of the risks involved
CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
Conference framework programme:
Day 1 "Human"
- Safety culture in the fire service
- Firefighter's health
- Challenges of the Incident Commander (IC) and competence of rescuers
- Rescue tactics and firefighter safety
Day 2 "Equipment and environment"
- Individual and collective protective measures and equipment;
- Importance of design and maintenance of facilities and grounds, and safety of rescue teams;
- Fire safety management;
- Current trends in the development of rescue technology;

The Fire Academy received the patronage of the Chief Commander of State Fire Service.
Fire Academy applied for the patronage of the Minister of Interior and Administration.
