On 15th April a group of rescurers from the Main School of Fire Service including firefighters from the Department of Professional Training and Traverse and cadets from the Technical Rescue and Rescue Actions Section joined International rescue training called „European Firefighters in Rome”.
Rome have visited dozen of firefighters representing countires such as: France, Spain, Germany, San Marino, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and of course from Italy and Vatican. Our group traveled by two cars – GBARt and SCKN with technical – engineering container with technical equipment, which allowed to run actions from technical rescue field, search and rescue operations and extinguishing fires.
On the very first day our representatives with Italian group USAR held search and rescue actions. On the second day took place trainings from tunnel fires. Following days ill be marked by, for example, familiarization with the infrastructure of the training ground, practical exercises at the stations and meetings with representatives of the Italian public administration.
The visit, in addition to operational activities, also includes official meetings of our delegation to representatives of the State Fire Services on the international arena. The activities of the group from SGSP will last until Saturday, April 22 this year.
