On 5th April 2023 at the Main School of Fire Service we were honoured to host for the first time Her Excellency Madam Nardiz Gurbanova, Phd., the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Poland. During visit we have also hosted representatives of the Ministry for Digitalization, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the Republic of Azerbaijan whom came to our Universtity during twinning project realized by The Centre for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP).
Madam Ambassador hosted Rector-Commandant nadgryg. dr inż. Mariusz Feltynowski, prof. uczelni and Vice-Rector for Students and Education st. bryg. dr inż. Zdzisław Salamonowicz.
During visit our guests had an opportunity to get familiar with our University, firefighters daily work, specific of medical resuce system in the Fire State Service as well as aspects connected with establishing possible new iniciatives for cooperation thanks to engagement of the Team responsible for International cooperation.
Moreover, guests had a unique chance to take part in workshops during experts seminar on safety of the injured during rescue actions.
We hope to cooperate closer with the Republic of Azerbaijan in the nearest future.
